"Lucy The Cat Mystery Queen" with my translation has been published this week. This is a picture book written from such an adorable cat (Sacred Birman), Lucy's point of view with lots of humor. In the 11th series, Lucy takes a magical mystery tour of Chichen Itza, Mayan temple and the palace of Mystery Queen. Seeing Lucy get bewildered by the historic yet very modern tour and sound like one of those girls who have a thing for history is one of the highlights. I sincerely hope both children and adults will enjoy this very charming Lucy's world both in English and in Japanese.

Those picture books I translated this year have also been available at IKUEI University／Junior College Library. Professor Norio Osako, who teaches in the department of early childhood education and care, gave us this wonderful opportunity. Many many thanks. Those new picture books I translated have been available at Tsuda University Alumnae Association, and one of our alumnae, Ms. Mayumi Mori, "Gallery Cafe George" owner, let our books join her youtube video "Yuuka Channel" hosted by Ms. Yuuka Higashi (a voice actress). Also, one of my English teacher colleagues, Sally sensei, and our university's independent forum, Translators' Network's members have enjoyed using those books for their regular read-aloud sessions. Many many thanks. I really appreciate such beautiful opportunities. Hope that our alumnae, especially the ones who are engaged in basic English or Japanese education and the ones who are in the middle of child-raising will enjoy those books when Corona goes away, and that the books will meet lots of new friends.
