Happy Halloween!!

During this Halloween season, I did "Book-Book Exchange" with Ms. Ryoko Sato, the Sato-Mama, who put all of her four children (three sons and a daughter) through Tokyo University Faculty of Medicine. In return for the picture books I translated, I got her beautiful latest book "100 habits to raise children to be studious" with a band wrapper saying "Don't lose to Corona"! Many many thanks for such a wonderful opportunity afforded by Tsuda University Alumnae Association. The image is a commemorative photo to celebrate our 5th Book-Book Exchange. Hope all of you have a happy Halloween!

Poupelle of Chimney Town えんとつ町のプペル

There is a factory town covered with chimney smoke. Since the townspeople haven't seen the sky or known what the sky looks like, they no longer believe that stars exist. A chimney sweep and a friendly monster named Poupelle decide to prove that stars are real.

Those new picture books published with my translation have also been available at Hamamatsu Municipal Library in Shizuoka, at the foot of Mt. Fuji. Many many thanks.
