Let’s Learn Banana バナナを まなぼう

"Let's Learn Banana" has been published with my translation this week. The author, being familiar with communal and educational activities and bibliotherapy, leads projects and workshops integrated with art. She has written lots of artistic and educational books, and in this "Let's Learn" series, she aims to expose the readers to a second language in an easy and fun way. English speakers will learn a few Japanese words. Japanese speakers will also learn a few English words and easy sentences that will give the feel of the beautiful sound of rhymes. I sincerely hope both children and adults will enjoy this adorable series which is suitable for both children and adults of all ages both in English and Japanese.
今週、翻訳いたしました『バナナを まなぼう』が出版されました。社会や教育的活動、ビブリオセラピー（読書療法）にも精通した著者は、アートと一体化させたプロジェクトやワークショップの指導者。著書には芸術性や教育性の高いものが多く、この「まなぼう」シリーズは、読者の方々が容易に楽しめる方法で第二言語を紹介することを目指しています。英語を話す方々は日本語の単語をいくつか学べ、日本語を話す方々も英語の単語と美しい韻の音感を味わえる簡単な文をいくつか学べます。あらゆる年齢層の子供たちと大人たちに楽しんでいただける、こちらの可愛らしいシリーズを英語と日本語のバイリンガルで子供も大人もお楽しみいただければ幸甚です。
