"A Challah for Granny: Mayumi-chan Loves Cooking" has been published with my translation this month. The author, Sigal Magen, is an artist who is familiar with communal and educational activities and bibliotherapy, and leads projects and workshops integrated with art. She has written lots of artistic and educational books, and in this “Mayumi-chan Loves Cooking” series, she leads children to enjoy learning and cooking while thinking and using their own imagination by exposing them to different cultures. I sincerely hope both children and adults will enjoy this book both in English and Japanese.
今月、翻訳いたしました『おばあちゃんに ハッラーを ひとつ: まゆみちゃんは りょうりが だいすき』が出版されました。著者のシガル･マーゲンは、社会や教育的活動、ビブリオセラピー（読書療法）に精通したアーティストで、アートと一体化させたプロジェクトやワークショップの指導者です。著書には芸術性や教育性の高いものが多く、この「まゆみちゃんは りょうりが だいすき」シリーズでは、子供たちを異なる文化に触れさせ、自分で考えたりイマジネーションを用いたりしながら学んだり料理したりするよう導いています。英語と日本語のバイリンガルで子供も大人もお楽しみいただければ幸甚です。
