Midnight in Paris ミッドナイト・イン・パリ


Woody Allen(ウディ・アレン) led his misanthropy, fear of death, and anti-American bitterness into comfortable comic whimsy, which makes us remind that all of us are fairly supposed to make the best of life in our own time while longing for a past that probably never existed. Allen seems to be even blaming himself mildly for his compulsive romanticism, his obsession with the past and his disconnection from contemporary American life.
