Lucy the Cat: Play with Me ねこのルーシー: わたしと あそんで

Beauty and the Beast 美女と野獣

This is a fairy tale transferred on the screen with respect to its original plot, which was told about two and a half centuries ago, when it was first put on paper in 1740. The superb casting of Lea Seydoux（レア・セドゥ）as Belle who injected a slightly independent toughness in her love for the Beast by Vincent Cassel（ヴァンサン・カッセル）makes the movie standout. She begins to know the Beast and later falls in love with him as a person while Vincent Cassel（ヴァンサン・カッセル）convinced us with his tough exterior but fragile interior beastly nature. Sensing his love and hate for himself, we recognize the suffering he went through and the reasons why Belle falls in love for him.

This is a story about Max and his beloved black cat, Rastus, who were loved by New Zealanders and people all around the world. For years they rode as a team with Rastus always firmly ensconced on the front of his master, Max's motorbike wearing his trademark helmet and red spotted scarf. At Christmas, this was replaced with antlers and everyone got pleased. Rastus, adopted by Max as a kitten at a swap meet, loyally followed the master every day of his life, even on his motorbike, of course. They happily traveled New Zealand's roads together day after day until being visited by a sudden road accident. On 20th January 1998, a tragedy struck Max and Rastus while they were doing what they loved (riding their motorbike together). A gem where their life together and death is told in an "ODE".

Interstellar インターステラー

Interstellar is truly a sci-fi epic like no other. It is a grand film being monolithic, thoughtful, sentimental, sophisticated, visceral. Christopher Nolan（クリストファー・ノーラン）set out to make his most personal and emotional film to date about love and time. There are no words to express the epic journey Nolan takes us on in the film, but needless to say, it's tear-jerking and emotional throughout. The acting is top-notch, especially Matthew McConaughey（マシュー・マコノヒー）, who gives his most emotional performance.

Gone Girl ゴーン・ガール

Dark and twisted David Fincher（デヴィッド・フィンチャー）'s stylish new mystery thriller was derived from Gillian Flynn（ギリアン・フリン）'s slick tale from her complex and suspenseful novel. It boasts some strong yet disturbing portrayals from one of the best acting performances from Ben Affleck（ベン・アフレック）, Rosamund Pike（ロザムンド・パイク）, Neil Patrick Harris（ニール・パトリック・ハリス）, and Tyler Perry（タイラー・ペリー）. Fincher has garnered fame and recognition as a mainstream director, which can engulf the audience within the picture, plus make them part of the scenario.

Mr. Daniel Vivian, who was in Mr. Uwe Boll's "Zombie Massacre", I translated previously, visited Japan today, and we took some commemorative pictures.
