Being nominated for Best Animated Feature for the 2017 Academy Awards, "My Life as a Zucchini", a deeply touching, funny, human and quirky stop motion animated film from France, received lots of awards. After losing his mother, a young boy is sent to a foster home with other orphans his age where he begins to learn the meaning of trust and true love. At first he struggles to find his place in this strange, hostile environment at times. However, with his new-found friends' help, he eventually learns to trust and might find true love.
