Event at Gallery Cafe George イベント＠ギャラリーカフェジョルジュ2

Ms. Sigal Magen, an author of the picture books I have translated, held her international event at a fine gallery, George, run by one of our university alumnae in Japan today. The drawings drawn by the adorable children who participated in this event will be in her latest picture book "Fun in Japan" which is being published later this year. Many many thanks to those who shared such a heart-warming and creative space with us today. I was so honored to know that our picture books were also welcomed as their presents. Hope all of us will enjoy cross-cultural understanding via her picture book and application even after she leaves Japan. I am very grateful for such a wonderful opportunity.
本日は、翻訳いたしました絵本の著者シガル･マーゲンさまの国際的なイベントが、大学の先輩が営むステキなギャラリー、ジョルジュにて開催されました。ご参加くださった可愛らしいお子さまたちが一生懸命に描いてくださった絵画は、シガルさまの今年出版予定の新作『にほんでのおたのしみ』に掲載される予定です。心温まるクリエイティブな空間をシェアくださった皆さま方、本日は誠にありがとうございました。拙訳絵本のプレゼントも楽しんでいただけて非常に光栄です。シガルさまがご帰国後も彼女の絵本やアプリを通じてまたご一緒に異文化の交差を楽しめますように。すばらしいご縁に感謝いたします。
