Grabbers グラバーズ

This film is a nice example to show that we do not need a huge budget to deliver a first rate comedy-horror film with a witty script. The combination of CGI and practical are very effective and well done. Its overall concept and whimsical tale of alien creatures attacking the inhabitants of a small Irish village would provide laughs and scare in generous quantities reminding you of a certain movie with dinosaurs.

Woody Allen（ウディ・アレン） led his misanthropy, fear of death, and anti-American bitterness into comfortable comic whimsy, which makes us remind that all of us are fairly supposed to make the best of life in our own time while longing for a past that probably never existed. Allen seems to be even blaming himself mildly for his compulsive romanticism, his obsession with the past and his disconnection from contemporary American life.
